Artist Kawase Hasui painted Autumn Nara Park, which portrays the deer who live in a park but never leave even though there are no fences. Japanese students and other tourists enjoy feeding them.
Ito Shinsui (b 1898-d 1972) a famous Japanese artist painted this unknown girl as one of his many paintings or prints of beautiful women known as bijinga in Japanese. I chose this painting because the girl in a summer cotton kimono has such a fresh and pure look.
